Old Mill Cottage is a pretty country cottage in Low Hawsker, 3 miles from Whitby and about 3 miles from Robin Hoods Bay.
Low Hawsker is a small village with regular buses into Whitby taking just a few minutes. The local pub the Hare and Hounds is open all day and serves good British food (and fish and chips to take away).

The cottage comprises an entrance hall with 2 double bedrooms off to the left and a large lounge/diner to the right with comfy sofas and an original old Yorkshire range in full working order.
Also downstairs are a large well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with 3 piece suite and a shower over the bath.
From the lounge there is an enclosed staircase leading to a twin bedroom. This room has 2 x 3' beds and would be fine for adults but with the low headroom it would be better suited to children.

The cottage works well as a family house for 6 or if you ignore the upstairs bedroom it is ideal for 1 or 2 couples.
The easy parking and the fact the facilities are all on the level make it suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties

The outside space of the cottage is well arranged with a sitting out area with good quality table and chairs and a barbeque.
The garden, which is completely enclosed and private, is planted with a mixture of cottage flowers and strawberries (help yourself).
There is off road space outside the cottage for 2 cars.
